Founded in 1947 as a nonprofit program of the University of California and The State Bar of California to provide continuing legal education, CEB has been a mainstay of the practice of law in California for over eight decades. Today, CEB continues to provide California attorneys with world-class information and guidance through an innovative operating model that combines cross-functional expertise of our staff attorneys, technologists, and expert contributors.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Solutions Sales Manager, the Account Executive (Field Sales Rep) is responsible for driving new sales within assigned accounts or territory. The CEB sales professional uses a consultative sales approach to identify the prospect’s needs and to show the value of CEB’s products, services, and solutions.

This role is primarily remote with limited travel requirements for possible company meetings or tradeshows or conferences. Pacific time zone is preferred.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in a business to business environment with experience in selling into the legal market a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Proven knowledge of solutions selling concepts, methods and techniques.
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation.
  • Effective time and territory management skills.
  • Strong product demonstration skills.
  • Able to work from home office and travel to customer locations. Must have valid California Driver License and proof of valid vehicle insurance.

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000.
