How do I view an On Demand seminar?
- Go to ceb.com and sign in using your User ID and Password.
- Click on CLE Programs and select an On Demand title from your library.
You can choose to view the streaming seminar, download the seminar in MP3 format, download the materials, check your MCLE completion status, and when the seminar is complete, view and print your MCLE Certificate and complete an evaluation.
Can I rewind or fast forward the audio or video to re-listen to content or skip ahead?
You can rewind or fast forward a segment only AFTER you have viewed the segment for full MCLE credit. Once you have completed a segment, the FF/Rewind slider bar will appear on the player the next time you access that segment. Drag the slider to rewind or fast forward to the desired point in the segment.
In the Windows Media player, the FF/Rewind slider bar is located above the play/pause/stop buttons.
In the Real Player, the FF/Rewind slider bar is located to the right of the square 'Stop' button.
How do I view and print the materials?
You can click on the 'Materials' link on your CLE Programs library page or you can access the materials by clicking on the 'Download Materials' link located below the PowerPoint slides in the On Demand seminar window. Reference Materials are in PDF format and require Adobe Reader.
How do I view and print PowerPoint presentations?
Many On Demand seminars have accompanying PowerPoint presentations. PowerPoint slides will advance automatically during an On Demand streaming seminar. You may also advance forward and backward manually using the toolbar buttons to preview or review a slide. When the next slide change occurs, the PowerPoint presentation will attempt to sync with the seminar in progress. Some On Demand streaming seminars do not have the auto-advance feature and slides must be manually advanced by the user. To print the PowerPoint slides, click on the Print slides link located below the slides.
What kind of MCLE Credit do I earn?
On Demand streaming and MP3 seminars qualify for participatory MCLE credit. Specialization credit is also available.
How is my attendance verified?
You have the option of viewing/listening to the streaming seminar or you can download and listen to the seminar in MP3 format. If you choose to view/listen to the streaming seminar, you must complete each 20 min segment in its entirety to earn credit for that portion of the seminar. If you choose to download and listen to the seminar in MP3 format, there are attendance verification code words inserted throughout the presentation. At the conclusion of the seminar, return to MyCEB and enter the code words in order to get your certificate.
How do I get my MCLE and specialization credit certificate?
If you choose to view/listen to the streaming seminar, an MCLE Certificate button will appear on the MCLE Status screen when you have completed the last segment. Or when the seminar is complete, you can click on 'MCLE Certificate' link in your CLE Programs library.
If you choose to download and listen to the seminar in MP3 format, there are attendance verification code words inserted throughout the presentation. At the conclusion of the seminar, return to MyCEB and enter the code words to get your certificate.
Please note that CEB's attendance verification requires that you complete all segments using a single format—the streaming version or the MP3 version (if available).
I completed one or more segments but the MCLE Status page did not grant me completion credit. How do I get credit?
If you have viewed one or more segments of a streaming seminar and did not get MCLE completion credit, please contact Veracast at (877) 837-2227 or via help@veracast.com and provide the title of the CLE seminar you are viewing, date and time of attendance, your phone number, email address and your CEB customer number. Veracast will verify your attendance against the media server logs and provide you with the appropriate MCLE credit. You do not need to view the segment again.
The most common cause for an incomplete status is that the attendance verification program could not track your attendance. If you are using the Firefox™ browser, the attendance verification program requires that you view the program using RealPlayer. Additionally, if you downloaded and installed the Firefox™ browser on top of an already installed RealPlayer™ on your system, you will need to re-install the RealPlayer™ again AFTER you have installed and configured your new Firefox browser. If you are using the Microsoft Internet Explorer™ browser, you may view the program using either RealPlayer™ or Windows Media Player™.

Telephone Topics (Live interactive telephone seminars)
What are Telephone Topics?
Telephone Topics are short, live seminars presented by a speaker or panel of speakers and delivered to you over a dedicated conference phone system. You can listen on a cell phone, regular land line phone, or speaker phone. Ten minutes from the end of each presentation, a question and answer period is announced and you are instructed to punch a key on your phone keypad if you would like to queue up to ask a question. All questions are taken in the order received and your question and the answer is shared with the entire listening audience.
What kind of MCLE credit do I earn?
Telephone Topics seminars qualify for participatory MCLE credit. Certificates of Attendance will be mailed after your attendance is verified, approximately one to two weeks after the seminar. You will also be able to view/print your MCLE certificate online at MyCEB.
Can I use my CLE Passport?
Not at this time.

Reference Materials (Seminar Materials in PDF format)
Why are Reference Materials for my seminar available online only?
For many of its seminars, CEB is now making the written materials that provide background information relating to the seminar topics available online. You will not need these Reference Materials at the seminar. With online materials, you can review them in advance of the seminar, the materials are in a searchable format, and we are reducing paper consumption.
Do I need to print the materials and bring them with me to the seminar?
You are not expected to bring a copy of the Reference Materials to the seminar. Materials essential to the classroom learning experience will continue to be provided in print form at the door when you sign in for your seminar.
How long will I have access to the materials?
Reference Materials are available to download approximately one week before the first presentation of the seminar and you will have continuing access to the materials online at ceb.com for one year.
How do I have access to the materials?
- Go to ceb.com and sign in using your User ID and password
(If you are new to ceb.com, follow "New User" instructions)
- Click on "CLE Programs"
- Click on the "Materials" link for the seminar
How do I know when the Reference Materials are available?
CEB will send you a reminder email with access instructions when the materials are available - approximately one week before the first session of a seminar. Also, at anytime after you have enrolled in a seminar, you can check the status of the Reference Materials at MyCEB.

If I don't pre-enroll, when will I be able to access the Reference Materials?
When you enroll on the day of the seminar, you will be able to access your Reference Materials three business days after seminar.
What if I have trouble downloading the materials?
For assistance, please contact CEB Technical Support at 1-800-750-9155.
