Continuing Education of the Bar California (CEB) is a program of the University of California that is cosponsored by the State Bar of California. Founded in 1947 with the mandate to cultivate the professional development of California lawyers, CEB was the first organization to offer formal Continuing Legal Education (CLE) in the state.
As our offerings to California's legal community have grown to include a wide array of award-winning practice books, guides, and CLE programs, we continue to set the standard for the finest research, writing, and presentation by the best and brightest lawyers in the state. The commitment of CEB's contributing attorneys to serving the real needs of working legal practitioners is at the heart of everything we do.
Lawyers' tools have changed considerably since 1947, and CEB has continually sought new, convenient ways to provide access to our authoritative content.
Practice Books help you master procedures and stay on top of new developments in all major law areas, while Action Guides™ break down complex legal tasks into manageable steps. Reporters provide perceptive analyses of developing topics on a regular basis, and Forms Manuals and Forms CDs provide drafted examples and prepared forms to speed daily tasks.
Live Seminars provide educational and networking opportunities at sites around the state, while On Demand Programs give you 24/7 access to seminars online.
OnLAW gives you powerful online access to CEB's California practice books, with search capabilities, citation links to primary law, an intuitive interface, and fully integrated forms.
Just as California attorneys depend on CEB, we depend on California attorneys. We invite you to participate in continuing to make CEB a vital organization that provides you with the information you need. Talk to us to let us know how we can provide better service and practice tools.
